AneIV is an anesthesia app that primarily aid anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetists in patient care. AneIV has several tools used in anesthesia situations in addition to a growing database with information about medications. AneIV also act as a medical calculator. Included medications are those that often are used in an anesthesia situations.

AneIV with its functions and tools are ment for people working in an anesthesia enviroment, but are usefull for all health care personnel. It can be used in the operation theatre aswell as in the intensive care unit!

AneIV has ads, but in upcoming versions, the ads can be removed.

Units supported are kilograms and pound regarding weight, centimeters and imperial regarding height and years, months, days and premature regarding age.

Throughout AneIV weight is converted to kilograms and height to centimeters.

The user supply gender, age, weight and height and AneIV will calculate Body Mass Index (BMI), Leady Body Weight (LBW), Ideal Body Weight (IBW) and Adjusted Dosing Weight (ADW) for adults and estimated weight for children.

If all variables are supplied by the user, AneIV also calculates Body Square Area, BSA.

AneIV has a list of medications and will calculate doses based on weight. By default, all medications uses TBW, total body weight, to calculate dose. This can be changed for each medication and age group.
